「６００台中、１３０台の納品が遅れたのは事実です。しかし、それは文科省がムリな仕様変更を迫ったからです。測定器は測った放射線量の数値をそのまま表示するわけではなく、機器に内蔵されたソフトで計算して表示します。文科省はそのソフトに『補正』を求めてきた。米国製の測定器は、他の測定器と比べて数値が高く表示される。これを嫌がったのでしょう。文科省は表示される数値を２割程度、低くするように言ってきました。２割も補正するなんて、数値改ざんです。案の定、測定器メーカーに相談すると、『世界仕様なのになぜ、日本基準にする必要があるのか』と断られました。そうこうしている間に納品が遅れたのです」（豊田社長）
